Sometime ago I did mu upgrade to gcc 4.x.x and changed from i386 to i686, my question is, can I delete the following folder:
/usr/i386-pc-linux-gnu
... which is almost, empty? There's only 12 files in /usr/i386-pc-linux-gnu/lib with the extensions *.so and *.la and then, there isn't anything else on any other directories inside /usr/i386-pc-linux-gnu.
1) So, can I delete the above folder without harming my system?
2) Maybe there are still old traces of the gcc upgrade and architecture change on my system, is there anyway I can find them and delete them has probably they are only there wasting space... right?

If you have done all of the steps in
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/change-chost.xml
then yes you can remove it _________________ - Failure is not an option. It's bundled with your software. |
