gphoto2 has decided it does not want to work. "gphoto2 --list-cameras" returns :
Number of supported cameras: 0
Supported cameras:
while "gphoto2 --debug --list-ports" gives the clues
0.015463 gp-port-info-list(2): Loading io-drivers from '/var/tmp/portage/libgphoto2-2.1.1-r2/image//usr/lib/gphoto2_port/0.5.1'...
0.015602 gphoto2-port-core(0): Could not load any io-library because '/var/tmp/portage/libgphoto2-2.1.1-r2/image//usr/lib/gphoto2_port/0.5.1' could not be opened (No such file or directory)
*** Error (-4: 'Error loading a library') ***
It looks to me that something went wrong during the install. Does anyone have any ideas how to correct this.
Thanks,
Chris |

thank you so much for posting the answer once you figured this out. I had the same problem and your fix worked. Is this a known bug? Your post was in May and I just had this problem in August. |
