Hey there !
I have just reinstalled gentoo after long time I did not have time to use it and I even appreciate more than before !
I am connecting through an Ethernet cable to the network.
I would like to know if there is a program or a line code that could allow me to bypass a remote firewall. I would like to know if it's possible to make in order that all my packets sent to the firewall are interpreted as some basic Internet surfing. so I can at least emerge -uD world my PC.
I have read somewhere that tinyproxy is an easy way to do it ?
Is it possible to make that all the ports used by any application are considered as some basic :80
If there is an easy solution I would be really great full to know it !
If you need any more information on my system and how I have configured it I'll be glad to make it know to you.
Thanks in advance !
Have a good day/evening. _________________ fp |

Are you in control of this firewall? If so, you can write your rules on the firewall. If not, then I don't know if you can. |

Are you trying to get passed a windows xp server firewall? I had an issue at work some time ago and everyone told me I could not get through. I found a Python script that allowed me to get passed it despite the firewalls. Then I used emerge web-rsync I believe. I could see if I can locate the script again, I don't use it anymore. You may be able to google it and find it with instructions. _________________ If you don't have dreams, you got nightmares.... |
