As stated in the title....thats just it.
Following the gentoo handbook, since im a linux beginner, i got all the way up to extraxting the tar with little to no issues.
Once i try to extract the tar off the Universal CD, it extracts fine until the ./usr directory then tells me the device has no memory left....what gives?
Any advice would be wonderful!!! _________________ Cars, computers, and rack gear....i have a problem.... |

It sounds like you didn't mount the hard disk before unpacking, and as such, are unpacking into the CD image.

Yeah...duh...thats exactly what the problem was....
I simply forgot to mount /dev/hda4 to /mnt/gentoo
