Numerous Segmentation Faults

Hi, I am getting frequent segmentation faults...and I can't pinpoint the problem.

Anytime I save a file in Firefox, it dies.
Anytime I load Gaim, it opens and then segfaults...numerous times...eventually working...
Anytime I save an attachment in Thunderbird, I get a segfault.

Any ideas?

First thing to do is check your ram. Use a gentoo livecd and boot into memtest86 (enter that as the boot option.) Let it run for a couple hours to look for errors.
