Hello dear community,

I have a dual monitor setup. No twinview, no xinerama.
No when I start a game (i.E. et) it grabs the pointer (which of course is good).

But now I want for some reason switch to the other screen without stopping the game (so that I can come back a few seconds later).

Is it somehow possible? Could I for example take the grabed pointer away from the game?

Thanks!
Nathan

Why not use twinview or xinerama to do this : http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Dual_Monitors#Mouse_Jail:_How_to_lock_your_mouse_in_the_monitor

More specifically check this out : http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Dual_Monitors#Using_multiple_screens

I now tried it with twinview ...
If I start et, the other screen just turns black ... that is not what I want!
