|
Hey guys,
I am new to Linux, Gentoo, and KDE so I am going to need you to bare with me as I am learning how all this stuff works.
I am trying to get my resolution in KDE to be 1280x1024 but the highest option I see in the configure-desktop-display options is 1024x768. I think I need to go into my /etc/x11/xorg.conf and add the 1280x1024 option along with the other resolution options(I'm not sure if this is correct so please tell me if I'm wrong). The problem is that I do not know how to do this, so if someone could explain it so a noobie can understand that would be much appreciated.
Thanks |

Can you post your /etc/X11/xorg.conf (assuming that you are using xorg-x11), and specification of your video card?
Update:
Quick google, I found page:
http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/xorg-config.xml
which shows you every thing you need to know about xorg.conf.
Anyway, if you still have problem, post the question. I try to help. |
