I've seem to run into something weird. I can only have two keys pressed on my keyboard simultaniously, the third won't register. So say i'm strafing jumping and pressing ARROW_UP and ARROW_LEFT, I can't switch weapons while i'm doing this, I'd have to left my finger up on one of the arrows then switch.
I have a standard PS/2 keyboard.
My XF86Config keyboard section:
Code: | Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "Keyboard0"
Driver "keyboard"
Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
Option "XkbModel" "pc104"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"
EndSection
|
Any help would be welcome
Thanks

haro: how good is your keyboard?
my ms natural doesnt like more than 3 keys pressed at once (usually okay, but crap for 2 player pyddr)
some cheaper keyboards might have that limit 1 lower, some nicer keyboards allow 4 or even 5 at a time.
gravity: are you sure you havent got emulate3buttons enabled? this would result in pressing left and right together sending a mouse3 event to quake3, which if unbound, would be as though you'd not pressed anything _________________ Rarr. |

It's a memorex MX5050, nothin fancy, just a standard PS/2 KB from anywhere.
I'll try a new keyboard within a few days and see if I still have the problem. Although, I don't have this problem in windows. |
