Assuming that you are using nuvexport, you probably just need to point it to the correct mysql database server. I don't have access to my system at the moment, but I believe that nuvexport checks for mysql.txt in the places that myth normally keeps it (/etc/mythtv/mysql.txt, ~/.mythtv/mysql.txt, and /usr/share/mythtv/). You might also be able to set the database information in .nuvexportrc.
If you're on a system that doesn't have mythtv installed, you should be able to copy mysql.txt over to your other system. Of course, the mysql server will need to be accessable to the system running nuvexport too. |
