Hello,
I've setup a new folder with ttf fonts, created font.scale and font.dirs files, xorgs sees them (xlsfonts command shows them), but those fonts are not present in xfce setting manager.

Thanks,
Sergey.

Hi sergeyn,

I can't get what you exactly did but I never had problems with Xfce and fonts.
The way I do this is to put the new fonts in an existing folder under /usr/share/fonts/<whatever> (e.g. TTF or truetype; maybe you also can create a new folder, I never tried) and than run fc-cache -fv. This will update the font cache of Xorg and will show up if new fonts were recognized. And that's all. May you need to restart Xorg but I think the last time I did this I handn't to.
