Hi, i've installed the version 1.2.0 of the drivers, with a 2.6.19-gentoo-r9 kernel. My wireless connection works, but not at first.
I must do a modprobe -r ipw3945 and later a modprobe ipw3945 for make it work (it's slow loading the drivers and enabling the card work..).
The main problem is that i get disconnections, and in this disconnections i get freezes in the laptop. The output of the dmesg is this:
Code: |
ipw3945: Detected geography ABG (13 802.11bg channels, 23 802.11a channels)
ipw3945: Can't stop Rx DMA.
ipw3945: Detected geography ABG (13 802.11bg channels, 23 802.11a channels)
ipw3945: Microcode HW error detected. Restarting.
ipw3945: Can't stop Rx DMA.

To make it work again, i must unload and load the drivers again, but another solution is simply poweroff my wireless card an later poweron it, with, in my case, the Fn+F2 combination.
You have any idea of how to solve it? |
