MSI K9N Platinum?

Hi,
The most annoying think happened the other day, my motherboard died. It was an MSI K8N Neo4, but it looks now like i need a new one. I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion, for, or against the (new?) MSI K9N Platinum board.

Some things I'd like to know from someone who has this board are:

• On my old MB i wasn't able to record audio from line-in without getting garbled up audio. Does recording from line-in work well on the K9N?
  
• Is everything supported by the kernel?
  
• Are there any quirks about it?

Yes, it's a very good board and everything is supported. I don't know about the line-in. You can read more in this thread.
