I'd just like sendmail to do a simple thing:
I want it to reject incoming mails from malformed mail addresses.
If somebody is trying to send a mail to my little server and this mail comes from toaster@toast it should be just blocked/rejected/whatever because that's a not a well formed incoming mail address.
Next step would be to check if a well formed mail address is a valid address on that domain. If incoming mail appears to be toaster@toast.com, before allowing to deliver mail to local inbox i'd like to check if toaster@toast.com exists on toast.com domain.
Is there a way to do it? i'm pretty sure yes there is... so i repost the question. Is there a way to do it in a simple way, maybe just changing some row in configuration file? I don't want and dont need to install spamassasin or similar, that's just a little pre-filtering mailserver.
Thank you in advance _________________ Think. Then think twice. Then, if you really need it, talk. But i'm sure you'll still say something stupid. |
