Hey.
I've been trying to install Hellenzb from both the berkano and zugaina overlays, but in both cases I get the following error when I try to start the server:

from twisted.scripts.twistd import daemonize
ImportError: cannot import name daemonize |
It looks to me like it tries to import a function from twisted that is not defined.
Any ideas on how I can fix or work around this?
Should I just download the latest version from the hellenzb website and say "to hell" with the version in the overlays?

i have that same issue, I couldnt fix it properly, what I did though was removed all references to daemonize in the code and then it runs but just cant daemonize

Does it work if you downgrade to twisted-2.1.0 ?

Hi,
This is a "bug" from hellanzb, I reported it a couple a week ago in the "bugzilla" of hellanzb ----> http://www.hellanzb.com/trac/hellanzb/ticket/254
But, anyway why you don't pickup the svn version ?? (this problem have been fixed since 0.12 i think)

I'll see if I can whip up an updated ebuild for 0.12 and for svn.

There is an ebuild for 0.12 in the berkano overlay now. It works here. Please let me know if you have any problems with it.
