Hi !
I've a question and I hope some people would have ideas ! I'am using a K7S5A motherboard with amibios and I try to install my 2nd hard drive (60 Go IBM) but I got some troubles. I known long time ago amibios had problems to handle big HDs and the only solution was to flash the bios. But when I look at my BIOS setup, it reconizes both of my HDs ! Moreover when I boot on a gentoo CD, I can access hda and hdb so everithing is wonderful. It becomes less cool when I boot on my gentoo system (2.4.19) because only my hda is accessible.
Does anyone have an idea on how to access my second hard drive from my gentoo system ? could it be a devfsd problem ? or any misconfiguration ?
thanks in advance to any ideas or same experiences !
