|

I'm configuring my keyboard and want to make back-button to tell konqueror to go back. Found this searching the web, but it doesn't work. Code: | dcop `dcop konq* | head -1` konqueror-mainwindow#1 action back |
I know lineakd has a plugin that can do this, but I just uninstalled it because sometimes it crashes and eats all my cpu power

You can enable this in all KDE applications that support this:
- Open KDE's Control Center
- Select Keyboard Shortcuts (under Regional & Accessibility)
- Under Shortcut Schemes, pick the Application Shortcuts tab
- Go the the Navigation section, then select Back
- Pick Custom, then click the button next to it (by default, it says "Alt+Left"
- Click the blank button next to Alternate Shortcut, then press the button you wish to assign
- Repeat 4-6 for any other actions/buttons you want to assign

Glad I could help. Please add "[SOLVED]" to the subject of the original post (unless, of course, you have more questions about this). That way, other people searching can see that there is a solution posted. |
