I have a Redhat machine with a 40GB drive used for mp3's etc which I share with WinXP via samba. Now that I have gentoo installed as well, I want access to the mp3's there too.
Will there be any problems with sharing the drive in the other machine with both NFS and samba? Or would I be better off to just mount the samba share in gentoo? I'm assuming that NFS has better performance, which is why I'm considering it. |

It would be just as easy to use Samba... that would be my suggestion. But, there shouldn't be any issues with sharing it via NFS and Samba... |
