limewire, frostwire frozes (beryl problem) [SOLVED]

when i try to open limewire (which uses generation 1 java - blackdown 1.4) or when i try to open frostwire (uses java 6 - generation 2 java) it starts but it stays white.

I have been able to identify the problem - i am using beryl.

I am assuming these programs use this version of java because they were the ones needed when emerging them from portage.


I AM REALLY FRUSTRATED becase I have in my system blackdown 1.4, java sun 1.5, java sun 1.6, and java sun emul linux 86 1.5 and still limewire and frostwire don't work and the nsplugin for firefox (64 bit) works really poorly with blackdown.

I have found http://wiki.beryl-project.org/wiki/Java but its solution for java 6 doesn't seem to work in gentoo x86_64.

if there is any other solution or way to solve this issue it would be of great help!! (i know java 6 was masked on amd 64 but i needed it for the ebuild i found for frostwire - if a frostwire that uses java 5 is found please give me the link - however i would still prefer to have the most up to date version).
