I have been getting thease error on my mp3 share for some unknown reason. I did try to look for a answer and a fix but I found none.
Quote: | CIFS VFS: Error 0xffffff90 on cifs_get_inode_info in lookup of /ymislegt
CIFS VFS: Error 0xffffff90 on cifs_get_inode_info in lookup of /XXX-Rottweiler
CIFS VFS: Error 0xffffff90 on cifs_get_inode_info in lookup of /XXX-Rottweiler

The folders are located in my mp3 folder, why they show up like this in the dmesg is unknown to me.
Thanks in advance for the help. |

Is it possible you have non-standard characters in the folder names? Or possibly
in the filenames in the folder? Or does cifs not like your taste in music...

Those folders have files that have Icelandic letters in them. |

Hmmm. I'll bet you have plenty of other folders with icelandic character-containing file names,
but still, if you rename the files to eliminate the icelandic characters, does the problem go away? Or maybe a bottle of "Black Death" got too close to your hard drive, and caused errors. It had that effect on me.
Cheers,
Jon. |
