Hi
I have a Dell XPS M1210, with Gentoo but my modem does not work, and i don know why.
Some people say me to emerge hsfmodem but does not work yet.

i Have emerged hsfmodem, and it say that run hsfconfig after emerge, and output this:

i didn't see your modem in lspci output... is it a pci modem? _________________ Configuring a Firewall? Try my iptables configuration

The modem is on the high definition audio bus. Hsfconfig shows that the hda modules were not built and that is probably why it is not working. I'm fighting with the same issues at the moment. I'll post back if i get anywhere with it. |
