Samba and swat

I set up samba today, as i always have done, and installed xinetd to have the swat service running...

But when im trying to login into the swat via a browser it keeps saying that my password or username is wrong....
(Yeah, i use the login root and the root password)

Does anyone have a suggestion ?
I have never encunterd a problem like this before, the swat service always ran fine
