|
|
I am trying to install engines which are not part of the app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-gtklibs such as candido (which i love) : http://candido.berlios.de
Of course, 64bits install works fine but then firefox-bin does not find the engines. I wonder is there a clean way to force the installation of the 32bits when the build is not written to install both - which is often the case.
Should I just do :
Code: | ABI=x86 emerge -B x11-themes/gtk-engines-candido |
And then install the engines by hand ? _________________ "May God stands between you and harm in all the empty places where you must walk" - Babylon 5 |

i think ABI selection isn´t ready yet but someone who knows what he is talking about should confim this.
Maybe yo can use emool to build a modified emul package that contains your engine or just simply build what you need. It was removed from the tree a few weeks ago but its really trivial to install.
maybe that helps a bit ...
