Hello,
I have a 1280x800 wide-screen (my Toshiba laptop).
When I use a 640x480 I get 640x400 instead (the bottom part is missing...)
Any ideas how to fix this?
Or, is it possible to stretch the low resolution (with black stripes due to the wideness of the screen)??? |

borfig,
Xorg is preprogrammed for the VESA standard 4:3 modes, However, it can generate almost any arbitary display mode you like.
You only need to describe how in xorg.conf.
You need some modelines to describe the wide screen modes you would like.
LCD displays give their best performace when they are operated at their native resolution. _________________ Regards,
