Nachdem ich ja nun vor einiger Zeit von Mac-mini G4 (mit Gentoo drauf) auf doch "etwas" leistungsfähigere Hardware umgestiegen bin habe ich nun ein kleines Problem.
Ich habe einen Hercules WLAN-USB-Stick der mit dem rt2570-Treiber funktioniert(e).
Das Problem ist nun, daß rt2570 nicht auf Mehrkern-CPUs läuft bzw. sich nicht komplieren läßt.
Kennt jemand eine WLAN-Karte (kann auch PCI sein, muß nicht zwangsläufig USB sein), die mit einem 64-Bit-System und SMP funktioniert?
ndiswrapper und binäre Module scheiden ja wegen der 64 Bit aus.
Zumindest hab ich auch ndiswrapper nicht auf diesem System zum laufen bekommen.

Läuft es nicht bei SMP oder läßt es sich nur nicht kompilieren? Für wenn Fall dass das letztere zutrifft kompilier's docht einfach mit bzw. | Code: | | MAKEOPTS="-j1" emerge -v |

Es läßt sich nicht kompilieren.

Schau dir mal bei madwifi die karten an, die unterstützt werden.
wpa_supp + madwifi lässt sicher fast überall kompilieren.. sogar auf nem armv5te
