Well, it's about time somebody asked us about that.
It is for April Fools, but we will see how much longer we keep it for.
As for your rank, you won't be l33t for much longer, I sense another veteran will be here soon  Either that, or as a continuation of April Fools there might be the opportunity to have 'ninja apprentice' users, but I am not promising anything.

when is the vet rollover, 1000 posts? i'm surprised i actually have that many posts, considering i live in otw.
i see Maedhros is giving the ninja the respect it deserves.

Yes, 1000 (list here). I was just about to ask about the Ninja thing...serves me right for skipping a day on the forums. 
I hope "fgo's canadian post whore" doesn't fly as a replacement for l33t, since I'm closing in on l33t. I wouldn't mind being an honorary Canadian, but the rest just seems...dirty.
