OK so I decided to try and start the install over to see if maybe that could help at all but this is still what i get

thats after your first boot? if yes u probably have to recompile your kernel with pci support

I have the same problem. I can't modprobe ds and 8139too..

This is just the boot off of the LiveCD before I even get everything installed and ready for a first boot.

I think that perhaps my D-Link is not a surported chipset yet because I can't find anything at all about it anywhere.
