vdr and channels.conf creation / scan

Recently the german sender group containing Pro7 / Sat1 and Kabel1 changed positions on the LNB to escape conflicts with the frequencies for wireless phones. On their webpage they state that the old position is still valid for two month but that doesn't seem to be true. I can't tune to those channels anymore. I've tried to edit the channels.conf with their updated values but it seems like I got not everything right. So I tried to scan for channels - didn't work either. For dvbscan I simply didn't get a scan running and Kaffeine behaves very strange. At first I got only 29 TV and 4 Radio channels (ought to be >200) and later on I found none at all anymore?!
I'd be gratefull for any tips on how to get those channels back.
