I have freshly installed and after boot i run #pppoe-setup and returns "command not found". And there is no /etc/ppp, I checked the LiveCD for these files and yes, they were there. So why dont I have it installed?

I need ppp, because I have adsl.

What am I missing here?

No, I haven`t installed it. In the handbook says that rp-pppoe is installed after you configure with pppo-setup and working internet.

Can I install it during installation or what?

as you need internet to download it, you can install it after you have chroot to your new system

see 2.25: install extra tools if required

Is this line in 2.25 correct:
livecd conf.d # USE="-X" emerge rp-pppoe (If you need PPPoE ADSL connectivity)

When I run :
Code:
USE="-X" emerge rp-pppoe

i get command not found. And then I just ran
Code:
emerge rp-pppoe

Is that USE really important or is it optional?

Now I get connected after pppoe-start, but I cant ping or emerge anything.
On emerge I get a connection timeout.
So, what is wrong now?

should be optional. but you need no gui for rp-pppoe ...

did you copy /etc/resolv.conf?

if you can ping ips (66.219.59.46 for www.gentoo.org), but not domainnames, its a dns issue.

I copied /etc/resolv.conf while installing.
Well, I ping that and got:

from 192.168.1.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Net Unreachable

Was 192.168.1.1 during install meant as my Server IP adress, because I looked in windows and its totally different (213.x.x.x)?

im not good at network support :P ... but you can try a few things

did you configure pppoe correctly? where does the 192.168.1.1 come from? did you set that manually?
would someone who forgets to install rp-pppoe also forget about dhcp? if so, emerge it and start it up.

else ... start up pppoe and post the output of
Code:
ifconfig

boot again your livecd and chroot again to your linux (as you do for rp-pppoe)
Code:

mv /etc/conf.d/net /etc/conf.d/net.old
echo "#nothing" > /etc/conf.d/net
emerge dhcpcd

reboot to your new linux

192.168.1.1 came from Gentoo Linux x86 Quick Install Guide.
Now I have replaced with my own server IP adress and it works!

Thank you all for the help.
