After install the stage3 and altering all files.
When I reboot and SILO prompt and type LINUX i get the following error:
Code: | SFast Data Access MMU Miss |
I just cant findt where the problem is.
any one know. |

It was wondering if any would like ro post there silo.conf file here so i could see if I am doing any thing wrong.
I already lookt on the silo main website but still no luck. ![Sad :(](images/smiles/icon_sad.gif) |

maybe I'm wrong, but that doesn't sound like a SILO issue, it sounds alot like an issue with the binaries being compiled for the wrong architecture. (shooting in the dark, but thats what it looks like to me)
I would share my SILO config, but I don't have my system working yet It's *still* in the bootstrap. (after like, a day)

Wel i found found out that the problemmen was that my kernel was not the correct one so now it works.
But how do I download a new kernle via emerge a new kernel (it was easy on a intel)
If have tried may kernels but none would emerge.
How do you do it. |
