|
|
Hello,
Iam looking for something like the remote desktop in Windows XP for my gentoo machine, which is configured with LTSP4.2, DHCP, LDAP, GDM, LFTP and sitting on a local network with connection to Internet.
Any ideas?
TIA |

Well, ltsp has rdesktop as a dependency:
Code: | net-misc/ltsp-4.2-r1 USE="X audiofile rdesktop scanner -debug -esd -nas -snmp" |
Code: | $ qsearch rdesktop
net-misc/grdesktop Gtk2 frontend for rdesktop
net-misc/rdesktop A Remote Desktop Protocol Client |
That help any? Or take carpenike's suggestion of VNC. That works good, too. _________________ I'm not a prophet or a stone-age man
