Whenever I reply to a message, Evolution inserts a line similar to the following:

The date in that line is formatted as YYYY-DD-MM, which, as far as I know, no one uses. Does anyone know how to fix this, or is this a bug in Evolution? My locale is set to en_CA.UTF-8.

I had a different problem, (first day of the week in Gnucash was set to start on Saturday[1]). This Wiki page helped: http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_localedef. It concerntrates on days of the week and not year-month-date format. It may work for you, or it may not.

[1] If it defaulted to Sunday or Monday I could understand, and if it was Monday (I'm use to Sunday) I could adjust. But Saturday?!...
