How do I make it so I can acess my windows ntsf hd from linux?> I could do it in mandrake with no problem, but have no clue how to do it with gentoo.
Also, in my /mnt directory I only have /cdrom. Problem is I have a dvd and a cdrw drive. If I put a cd in the drive, it doesnt recognize that anything is in there. How do I fix this? Thnx for any help. _________________ Gentoo on a Powerbook 12" 1ghz with 756mb ram. YEE HAA |

1) compile NTFS read support into your kernel
2) as root, mkdir /mnt/dvd
then add an entry for /dev/hdc (or whatever the device is) in your fstab, with "auto, user" options set. |
