Hi there,
I'm using a USB scanner HP5470c. It took some work to get it running but now I'm all set. If I use xsane, I can scan beautifully consistently.
Since my desktop is KDE, I would prefer to use Kooka. The problem I have is that Kooka returns black images almost all the time. I have successfully managed to get actual scans only once!
Is this a known problem with Kooka? What can I do to fix it?
Thanks,
Tim. |

Which driver did you use for this scanner? _________________ embAD-new way to insert ads to your website |

Yep, I tried that but unfortunately my scanner is not supported by hptoolbox.
In any case, I don't think this is a driver problem since I can scan perfectly well with xsane. It seems this is more of a Kooka issue :/. |
