Hallo :-)
Nach dem gestrigen Update auf die neuen Vanilla-Sources 2.6.19.7 treten bei mir Probleme mit dem CD-Laufwerk meines Laptops auf. In dmesg steht das hier:
| Code: | | hdc: cdrom_pc_intr: The drive appears confused (ireason = 0x01). Trying to recover by ending request. |
später dann das hier:
| Code: | hdc: status error: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest }
ide: failed opcode was: unknown
hdc: drive not ready for command |
irgendwann scheint das Laufwerk dann ständig zu lesen, obwohl keine CD drin ist, und geht nicht mehr auf. KDE (--> HAL) war außerdem irgendwann der Meinung, daß eine CD drin wäre ... dann ist auch noch kded abgestürzt. Das selbe Problem tritt mit den vanilla-sources-2.6.20.4 nach einiger Zeit auf. Mit den vanilla-sources-2.6.18.6 gibt's keinerlei Probleme.
Irgendwelche Ideen?

Hallo,
ich hatte vermutlich vor längerer Zeit auch mal dieses Problem.
Allerdings bootete der Rechner zum Teil nicht einmal und es war ein Brenner..
Hatte es mit den Bootoption "hdc=noprob hdc=cdrom" aber gelöst.

Korrigiere: auf Laptop 1 gibt's keine Probleme mehr ... auf Laptop 2 (dem älteren) bekomm ich nach wie vor die Meldung(en)

ABER:
_Scheinbar_ war das wohl alles an der Bootoption "irqpoll" gelegen. Ohne geht alles. Fragt mich nicht, warum ich die mal gesetzt hatte früher ... ;-) |
