I have a drive in my lvm going bad. Luckily its the smallest drive (113 GB). The drive is completely full of lvm data. So I decided to do the pvmove command. I did a pvmove -v /dev/hdb1. I get this error.
Code: | Wiping cache of LVM-capable devices
Finding volume group "storage"
Archiving volume group "storage" metadata (seqno 9).
Creating logical volume pvmove0
Insufficient suitable contiguous allocatable extents for logical volume pvmove0: 28617 more required
Unable to allocate temporary LV for pvmove. |
This doesn't make any sense to me because the lvm has 610GB available according to df -h
Can anyone help me out? I would appreciate it.
