Hi All!
I'm trying to use a Silicon Image SiI0680A ATA IDE on AlphaPC 164SX, but i can't to find driver modules for kernel include. I have booted with Debian and i have seem that use siimage kernel module for this card. How i can to get this on Gentoo?
Is this driver module ready or is this in development stage?
Thanks. _________________ ---------------------

You can find the siimage module here in the kernel configuration:
Code: | Device Drivers --->
ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL support --->
<*> ATA/ATAPI/MFM/RLL support
<*> Enhanced IDE/MFM/RLL disk/cdrom/tape/floppy support
[*] PCI IDE chipset support
[*] Generic PCI bus-master DMA support
<*> Silicon Image chipset support |

You won't be able to boot from it unless SRM recognises the card. SRM typically only recognises cards that were offered as original system option cards when the machine was new i.e. it probably won't know about this new card. _________________ Compaq XP1000 Alpha EV67 667Mhz w/ 2GB ECC
