Code: | /home/peter/.kde/share/config/gtkrc-2.0:8: error: unexpected identifier `le', expected character `='
/etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:1: error: unexpected character `l', expected character `='
-:1: error: unexpected identifier `le', expected character `='

(vim:7345): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_param_spec_internal: assertion `!(flags & G_PARAM_STATIC_NAME) || is_canonical (name)' failed
/home/peter/.kde/share/config/gtkrc-2.0:8: error: unexpected identifier `le', expected character `='
/etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:1: error: unexpected character `l', expected character `='

Could you actually post the files referenced, or at least the specific lines
Quote: | /home/peter/.kde/share/config/gtkrc-2.0, line 8
/etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc, line 1 | It looks like some screwed up shell scripting. _________________ "You have to invite me in" |

thanks for the reply - it turns out my hard disk is the problem. Lots of corrupted file messages on startup etc. |
