Can someone help me... I started X with startx. Is there a way to kill X because some program crashed in it... |

ctrl+alt+backspace should do it, or ctrl+alt+f1, login and killall X |

To kill X:
control+alt+backspace (from the X server)
To switch to text console (there are usually 6 text consoles, the 7th is used for X server):
control+alt+Fx (where x is 1,2,3,4,5 or 6) |
