Hi.
I am using an amd64 stable box. I use KDE as my desktop but I also need to use a lot of GTK apps, namely Firefox, Eclipse, and Gaim.
I'd like these apps to use the KDE look. I found the package gtk-engines-qt engine today, so I emerged the latest unstable version (there is no stable version on amd64).
However, even after a reboot, it does not seem to be working. It should add a panel under KControl->Appearances & Themes labeled "GTK Styles and Fonts" but its NOT there.
Any ideas? The main thing I want to achieve is setting the font for the menus on Eclipse to a smaller size, it is taking too much place on my IDE.

I use gtk-engines-qtcurve as gtk theme, and the corresponding qtcurve for KDE. This is a much more stable solution than gtk-qt. _________________ "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." - Abraham Lincoln

Yes, but I currently use the Crystal theme in KDE... I dont really want to switch to another theme. Besides, the real problem is to be able to change the font size in GTK applications.
I dont think gtk-engines-qtcurve would help for that. |
