ra0 no longer working

I let some things update overnight, and now I cannot connect to my wireless router. My mother's computer connects fine to it, so I know it's not a router issue.

I'm not sure what went wrong. I know baselayout as well as wireless-tools updated overnight, but I can't downgrade wireless-tools and I reverted to previous versions of baselayout (1.12.9-r2), with no success. I'm using baselayout-1.12.10-r3 right now. As I said reverting didn't help...

Anyone know what might be wrong here? All of the info in iwconfig is fine, I don't understand why I can't connect

It seems that net-wireless/wireless-tools-29_pre17 doesn't play nicely with the rt2500. I'll see how it fairs with my ipw2200 and prism54 cards in the week.
