Ok, this is a tricky question....
Question 1:
I want to restrict my personal useraccount from traversing from my home directory upwards in the structure, ie. doing a in my home dir will produce a error. That's the easy part, I know, But I also would like a dir in my home that points to the toplevel dir (like a System directory). So by doing a will actually take me to .
Get it ?
Is this doable ? I have tried a regular symlink (ln -s) but that didn't work.
Could I mount --bind / to the dir ?
Question 2:
When I add my user to the group Wheel, am I able to install software that normally require Root access ?? _________________ I once met the guys in Anthrax, backstage after a gig in Stockholm. I didn't ask for autographs though..... |
