Hi,
Clicking on the "lock screen" menu item in "System" does nothing. How do i get it to work?

I think i had this problem with slab/gnome-main-menu, I think the solution was to emerge gnome-extra/gnome-screensaver. |

Solved. Just emerge gnome-screensaver, add gnome-screensaver to sessions and you're done!
But, how do you have a command-line function to lock the screen? Thanks! |

But, how do you have a command-line function to lock the screen? Thanks! | Lock the terminal or lock X via the terminal? Use screen when you want to be able to lock a terminal and "gnome-screensaver-command --lock" to lock X when running gnome-screensaver.
For xscreesaver: xscreensaver-command -lock _________________ Gentoo Hardened Linux 2.6.21 + svorak (Swedish dvorak) |
