Is this motherboard linux compatible?

Hello world!

I'm about to get an Asus P5N-E SLI motherboard, and I would like to know if it is fully Linux compatible. Specially the sound card, which is a Realtek ALC883 6-channel CODEC (I read somewhere in the ubuntu forums that there were some problems getting it working).

Almost likely it works, but you can always check the alsa soundcard matrix for compatibility. The rest should be ok too, though you didn't post details...
