Hey guys. I'm trying to install Gentoo 64-bit on a Core 2 Duo machine, brand new just built by me like 20 minutes ago, and the Livecd isn't working. Does the livecd support SATA DVD install? If not what does so I can use it. Like does Knoppix? _________________ System Specs:
64-bit gentoo linux
Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz
P35 Chipset
4 Gigs 800mhz 4-4-4-12
Nvidia GeForce 8800 GTX @ 630mhz |

Never mind guys I've found a suitable replacement! _________________ System Specs:

I had the same issue two days ago. Now the Gentoo livecd (AMD64) works fine. See my post below. |
