ciao a tutti,
ho un problema con la ram. Ho montato due banchi da 1GB ciascuno al posto dei miei due banchi da 256MB sul mio portatile un
ASUS V6000V. I banchi sono stati acquistati, come suggeritomi da Flameeyes(a proposito grazie del consiglio sono arrivati subito e sono perfetti) su crucial.com.
Da notare che è stato il sito a dirmi quali banchi di ram avrei potuto montare in base al modello del portatile.
Ora il problema è che su windows mi vengono riconosciuti, mentre sotto linux non vengono riconosciuti; ovvero:

ho provato come suggeritomi da Praise ad impostare nel grub.conf il parametro "mem", nel seguente modo:

ma ancora nulla; ovvero l'output di free è lo stesso di quello qui sopra.
Non penso si tratti di impostare l'hi mem del kernel visto che è per chi possiede più di 4GB di ram...
Qualcuno ha delle idee?
