I have been rather stupid! I have been experimenting with Ubuntu and I have installed grub so that It no longer sees hda1 as the boot partition. I have installed Ubuntu before and I have always been able to skip re-installing grub but not this time.
Currently the boot directory is on /dev/hdb1 and the boot partition I usually use is located at /dev/hda1. This partition is currently mounted as /media/_boot. How do I re-install boot so that I am using /dev/hda1 as my boot partition again. I would also like to move over the Ubuntu stuff so that I can still boot into that if I want to.
[edit]Sorry panicked a bit there I have done it. |
