ciao a tutti,
non riesco ad emergere bootsplash...premettendo che le opzioni del kernel sono state compilate, che il modulo del framebuffer lavora, che l'ebuild nel portage c'è, che ho seguito passo passo l'howto per l'installazione...ottengo errore nelle dipendenze.

Il primo suggerimento è di postare sempre l'errore quando fai una richiesta di supporto... 
Altrimenti è quasi impossibile aiutare.

l'errore:
!!! all ebuilds that could satisfy "bootsplash" have been masked
!!! error calculating dependencies . Please correct

Ciao, probabilmente hai dato solamente il comando
ma il pacchetto in questione non è ancora nel ramo stabile del portage, quindi devi dare il comando di sopra preceduto dall'opportuna opzione:
