hallo an alle,
erstemal: mein system startet.
ich kann arbeiten. 
seit kurzen habe ich eine web cam. modell: techsolo 4810 (zc3xx).
und ich habe einen neuen kernel: 2.6.20-1.
seitdem startet mein rechner mit folgender meldung:

die zeilen an fehlermeldungen rauschen nur so dahin.
ich kann soweit arbeiten, aber nicht mir usb.
lsusb zum beispiel hängt sich auf.
ach ja, die webcam selbst habe ich nicht wirklich zum laufen bekommen,
einmal nur, aber ich weiß nicht mehr wie. ist erstmal auch egal,
aber ich habe testweise module vom hersteller übersetzt
und die könnten nun querschießen.
jemand ne idee was ich nun zu machen habe?

Hehe, die gspca Geschichte.
Ich wollte meine DigitalCam als Webcam misbrauchen - mit diesen Treiber denn du auch verwendest.
Ich hatte das Problem, das der Treiber meine ganze CPU-Leistung verbraten hat wenn ich die Cam benutzen wollte.
Ein Bildchen konnte ich sehen, aber sobald noch irgentwas über dem USb-Bus (wie Maus) eine aktivität vermeldete - hängt sich der ganze Scheiss einfach auf. Nicht der Kernel, aber die Anwendung die auf das VideoGerät zugreifen wollte.
Ich habs dann sein lassen und kauf mir irgentwann ne vernünftige Cam.
Vieleicht lags auch nur an meinem zu schmalen USB Bus in Version 1. |

ja, auch ich muss festellen: der treiber friert mein ganzes system ein.
selten, dass man zeuge eines solchen ereignisses wird.
