xine purple lines no picture

I fist installed xine on my laptop KDS w/PIII and trident video and sound.

Before I installed my alsa driver, xine played dvd, fine just no sound.

Then I installed asla driver, and sound, no video. The screen is just purple with lines.

The startup looks fine (same as my desktop), xine-check say's everythings ok. I tried deinterlacing, that did nothing, swithching video drivers, nothing.

I forgot about rtc so I recompiled my kernel with rtc built in and started xine, it worked, no sound. Rebuilt alsa, and puple w/lines, sound, no video.

Any ideas??????

Edit: If I rc-update del alsasound I get a picture at the top split, not good.

Niether Xine or Mplayer work, same problem, even with a simple mpeg.
