I've been trying to get audacious to display chinese characters that are automatically fetched from CDDB. I've tried setting "gbk gb18030 big5-hkscs" in fallback encodings and the characters doesn't display properly too. The chardetect USE flag is set and my locale is in UTF-8. Any ideas? |

thanks for the information. i have another question:
i played some mp3 and chardet works correctly in the playlist window but garbage characters shows up in the player window. Is this a bug? I'm using v1.3.2. |

I'm not sure about this, but maybe the font of the playlist window doesn't support the characters? Did you try another font already? |

the playlist window is the one that displays the characters correctly but the player window is not. i don't know how to change the default fonts. can you point me to a howto? thanks. |
